Harvey Tye – Drawing

Harvey has always had a love of drawing, finding it relaxing and enjoyable. Over the years he  has developed a unique style of bold colour, pattern and detail that is instantly recognisable. Harvey loves to draw characters and buildings and landscapes and takes his inspiration from the local area while out exploring.

Harveys work has a real print quality to it and  works well as lino prints and woodcuts. His style is very transferable and has been used to create shadow puppets, mask and puppets.

Harvey’s work has featured locally in Tullie House, in their Cultures Collide project, and Carlisle cathedral where Harvey recently held a solo exhibition in partnership with Prism Arts.
